My Favorites for September 2013.
This comp concentrates on two groups.
Dada Trash Collage from Easton, PA. I recorded a couple record with them and mastered a few more. This is some of my favorites cuts from the records I didn’t record.
Copernicus is a strange, free improv concept from New York. This guy put out a few records in the late 80’s but after that i kinda forgot about it. One day recently, I was wondering about Copernicus so i consulted the Oracle and the oracle revealed a boatload of records that have come out recently! These are some of my favorite cuts from these more recent records. His first one, “Nothing Exists” is recommended if you are into the stream of conscientiousness, Ken Nordine Word Jazz-esque jams.

A North Charleston woman is accused of wielding a knife in an assault on her roommate after he refused to stop listening to rock music by the Eagles Monday night.
Vernett Bader, 54, of Brossy Circle, is charged with criminal domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature.
North Charleston police responded to Bader’s home late Monday concerning a reported stabbing, an incident report states.
The woman’s 64-year-old roommate was nursing stab wounds to his arm, hand and elbow, police said.
The wounded man told police that Bader grew angry with him while he was listening to the Eagles and watching television with his brother.
Bader told her roommate she didn’t want to listen to the band. He responded by telling her to shut up, the report states.
Bader grabbed a serrated knife from a kitchen drawer and swung it at the man, police said.
When the two men wrestled the knife away from Bader, she went back into the kitchen and found another, the report states.
Police said Bader admitted that she stabbed her roommate, but alleged that she did so out of self-defense because he was choking her.
Investigators did not see any marks or injuries on her neck, according to the report.
All three people were intoxicated when the stabbing occurred, police said.
Bader was held at the Charleston County jail Tuesday pending a bond hearing.
