Mastered a little Biosexual today

Today was about archival transfers of mostly Bernadette Bascom tapes for Wheedles Groove II.

Tonight I accepted the Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Washington.

Today I finished the archival tape transfer of vintage 1/4″ reels by Kerry Leimer. These tapes are circa 76-81. All minimal analog synth compositions made mostly with Moog’s and Oberheim’s. Fantastic! at time reminds me of the Residents, but actually more like Tuxedomoon’s more abstract pieces.

The significance and coolness factor of this photo will be lost on my American compatriots for at least a year, but my fellow French compatriots will recognize my visage at the entrance to the lake Pub from the hit TV show Les Revenants
