The clear winner in this Ballard edition of the Taco Crawl was El Taco Loco. Their Al Pastor was soooo good we went back the next day to try carnitas, asada and mole. The bar has been set.

A real delight! Flavorful meat, tasty tortilla and the only one doing it Mexico City style with pineapple.
Taco Crawl Stop #3 – Gracia
The house made tortillas and crispy presentation brought this place up a notch from the previous place, but still many notches to go to meet the clear winner.
Taco Crawl Stop #2 – La Carta de Oaxaca
Massively bland Al Pastor (surprisingly). A real let down after El Taco Loco.

After watching the first episode of Taco Chronicles about Al Pastor, we had to try all that Ballard had to offer. This was the first stop and it was amazing.
