Tonight I accepted the Teaching Excellence Award from the University of Washington.

Today I finished the archival tape transfer of vintage 1/4″ reels by Kerry Leimer. These tapes are circa 76-81. All minimal analog synth compositions made mostly with Moog’s and Oberheim’s. Fantastic! at time reminds me of the Residents, but actually more like Tuxedomoon’s more abstract pieces.

Today is Ardbeg day! Today is the release of a limited edition scotch called Ardbog. I tasted it last night at the Seattle Ardbeg Day celebration. As a member of “The Committee”, I must encourage you to taste Ardbeg on this day of all days, but also on any other day.
