Seven years ago I released this DVD about Studio construction. Soon it will be available streaming!

It was close between Los Potrillos 4 and Rosticeria y Cocina El Paisano because they were different styles. It was almost a tie but the turning point was that Paisano’s tortillas fell apart. So, Carnitas and Al Pastor to Los Potrillos 4 and Asada to Paisano. Check out the Asada plate that our host Denali Williams​ had.

We read sooo much about how great this truck is but maybe their tacos aren’t the draw because these asada and carnitas were just average IMHO.

No al pastor here, but the carnitas and asada was pretty good.

Ensenada style al pastor was delicious, stepping it up a notch, tender asada and your basic, traditional carnitas made this stop totally worth it.

Now this is more like it. Carnitas in the melt in your mouth fatty style, crispy asada and Mexico City style al pastor. Delicious!

Thanks to Denali Wiliams for setting this up and doing the research. 3 happy hour tacos. Al Pastor, Carnitas, Asada. Good but unmemorable.
